Ontario Printed Educational Materials
(OPEM) Trial Process Evaluation

The OPEM Trial Process Evaluation aims to explore the potential causal mechanisms underlying any treatment effects in the overarching Randomized Controlled Trial of Ontario Printed Educational Materials currently underway. Using the Theory of Planned Behaviour, a well-validated socio-cognitive model, the team hypothesizes that the interventions will impact on physicians' behavioural intentions due to improved attitudes or subjective norms with little or no change in their perceived behavioural control.
