KT Theories

Under the direction of Jo Logan and Ian Graham, the KT Theories project aims to identify and critically evaluate conceptual models, frameworks and theories of knowledge translation which might be relevant to health care organizations and professionals.

The specific objectives of the project are to:
1. conduct a focused search for planned change conceptual models, frameworks, or grand theories of knowledge translation.
2. undertake a theory analysis of the identified models to determine their strengths and limitations
and to determine similarities and differences among them.
3. determine the extent to which each model has been used and/or tested.
4. develop a KT Theories User’s Guide (Available here.)
