The KT ICEBeRG Team is composed of nationally and internationally recognized researchers. See below for a list of recent announcements and awards given to members of the group.

 

Announcements & Awards

  • Jacqueline Tetroe has joined CIHR as a KT policy analyst/advisor. She continues to participate in the KT-ICEBeRG team.

  • Vanessa Lybanon has joined the team as coordinator. She comes to us from the Institute of Mental Health Research, Youth Unit.

  • France Légaré and Dawn Stacey, received a CIHR grant for their project "Interprofessional approaches to shared decision making in primary care: Advancing theories, Frameworks, Methods, and Measurement" (Health Policy and Systems Management Research).

  • Margaret Harrison and Ian Graham received a CIHR grant for the following project: "Community randomised control trial on the effectiveness of two compression bandaging technologies" (Clinical Trials Panel).

  • Linda Li and Catherine Backman, also received a CIHR grant for their project entitled: "From aches and pains to timely treatment: What drives people with arthritis to seek information and treatment?" (Knowledge Translation – Research Synthesis).

  • Peter Levesque (PI) was awarded a contract from the Canadian Council on Learning to test the following proposal: "Podcasting: Knowledge Exchange for Auditory Learners Phase1: Testing tools, interfaces, and podcast production processes."

  • Ian Graham – VP Knowledge Translation CIHR
           Dr Graham was recently appointed as Vice-President of Knowledge Translation at the Canadian Institutes of Health Research. Click here for more details.

  • Rosemary Martino - CIHR New Investigator Award – funded by the Institute of Aging
       Rosemary was recently awarded a CIHR New Investigator Awards for her work on psychometric testing of the new inventory measuring impairment in elderly adult patients with swallowing disorders.

  • France Légaré – Canada Research Chair in the Implementation of Shared Decision Making in Primary Care

  • Michelle Driedger – Canada Research Chair in Environment and Health Risk Communication
           Michelle became a CR Chairholder on 1 April 2006. Click here for more details.

  • Marie-Pascale Pomey – CIHR New Investigator Award funded by the Insititue of Health Services and Policy Research
       Marie-Pascale was recently awarded a CIHR New Investigator award for her work on the management of quality of care in Canadian health care centres.

  • Annie Leblanc – FRSQ Doctoral Scholarship – Implantation d’un outil d’évaluation de la maîtrise d’asthme en soins de première ligne
