Biography
While a Cochrane review found that performance feedback may be effective in changing provider behaviour,
a great deal of the variability in the studies has been attributed to the way the feedback is designed or delivered.
My thesis project is a mixed methods study exploring how to optimize the design and delivery of audit and
feedback for family physicians in Ontario.
The clinical focus is prescriptions for secondary prevention of MI.
The study will seek to build upon existing theory through a combination of interviews and a pilot trial of
various feedback designs.
