Biography
I am an MSc student within the Department of Epidemiology and Community Medicine at the University of Ottawa.
Currently, my interests are focused on knowledge translation (KT),
specifically on developing a better understanding of blood transfusion in orthopaedics.
I am working on my thesis with Dr. Jeremy Grimshaw and Dr. Alan Tinmouth.
My proposed thesis is entitled
"Understanding the determinants of blood use in orthopaedics: a review of the literature and
a theory based exploration of the factors influencing the decision to transfuse."
